Gaye Lee

I have been a working vocalist, musician, voice over artist, songwriter and performer for over forty years endeavoring in many genres of music. My roots are mostly rhythm and blues, rock, jazz and funk but I have performed many other varieties of music on an array of stages with an array of musicians, some famous, some not. My music career has been eclectic and entertaining with stints in musical and dramatic theater and singing with nationally acclaimed swing choirs and big bands. I have had the pleasure of touring, recording and performing with an array of dazzling recording artists and performers throughout the years. Many miles, many venues, many studios, many gigs. My voice and my jingles have been heard on national and international television and radio ads since the 1970s. I currently enjoy singing, writing music, playing guitar, piano and performing but have been working feverishly to get my first solo album out.   I have fabulously multi-talented musician friends to play and record with and it's been an awesome way to live my life and experience the world through music. Never known to be a shy person, the delivery of a song is important to me and I am a great believer of leaving it all on the stage or in the studio. Now it's time to let it out.

I am proud of my new album "Release"and it just happens to be my first SOLO album after many years of being a Vocalist. Freaky - Right? The Gaye Lee Russell name is on countless recordings, just not on my own solo album.  So, in conclusion, if you don't download a track or the CD,  find out where I am performing.
